Ian acquired High Level in 2007. Using his commercial and technical knowledge of video and photography services from previous businesses he has developed the business into what it is today.
From humble beginnings with one mast vehicle and one photographer, Ian has overseen the company expand to include six mast vehicles, two drones, an aircraft, a vast array of cameras (both stills and video) along with a loyal and highly experienced team.
Ian lives in Surrey with his wife and three children. Ian is a keen photographer, cyclist and pilot in his spare time.
With 20+ years experience working in all aspects of cutting edge technology companies including running a successful drone business, Dom is perfectly placed to oversee the development of High Level.
Dom’s business development expertise is a great asset enabling High Level to explore and nurture new areas of opportunity and grow utilising the assets at our disposal.
A qualified pilot of aircraft, drones and paramotors, Dom spends some of his spare time flying over the beautiful English countryside from his home in Wiltshire.
Many of our customers will know Louise from her original Account Manager role from when she joined the High Level team in December 2014. She has since moved on to become the MD’s ‘right hand’ woman assisting in the day to day operations of High Level.
Louise lives in Surrey and enjoys discovering new eateries, bars and clubs. A dog is on her wish list as an alternative to another visit to the gym.
Known to many of our customers’ as the first point of contact, Gillian has been with High Level since October 2011.
Since joining the team she has helped grow the business partly through her expert knowledge of the property industry from her previous career as a field based representative both in the commercial and residential sectors.
Gillian lives in Surrey and loves last minute meals for two especially as her children are now of an age where they have gained some independence with their own cars.
A familiar voice to many of our customers, Wendy joined High Level in April 2016 to assist Gillian in sales and account management.
She has swiftly become an expert on all things photographic recommending the best methods to achieve the results our clients’ require whether it be elevated mast, drone or aerial.
Wendy lives in Surrey has a fine art degree and makes a mean lavender cake.
Having joined in 2008 David has been integral in the business expansion. A ‘Jack of all Trades’ role originally, David is pleased to see others come on board to enable him to concentrate on the photography.
Over the years he has photographed many sites throughout the UK, driving and flying thousands of miles in the process. This experience has proved invaluable in him being able to pass on his knowledge to his fellow photographers.
David lives near Aylesbury and has had a lifelong interest in photography, aviation and travel.
Since early 2013 Bryony has brought her creative flair to High Level not only when behind a camera but also when armed with a computer and Photoshop!
High Level has offered Bryony a multitude of opportunities to expand these creative capabilities plus the chance to abseil, fly and take trips in very tall cherry pickers.
Hailing originally from the Isle of Wight Bryony now lives in Surrey and uses her spare time to master various unusual artistic techniques and can usually be found binge-watching shows on Netflix in a dino-onesie!
Leif operates High Level’s Northern office. Based in Manchester he mostly covers assignments in locations throughout the North and Scotland. He occasionally ventures South both for assignments and to visit the head office to touch base with his colleagues.
Leif was formerly a police officer before retiring and spending a year as an official photographer for Red Bull providing fantastic photographs of their air racing circuit from exotic locations around the world.
In his spare time Leif is an internationally qualified aerobatics judge.
As the first point of contact when calling in, many clients’ will be familiar with Clare’s voice. Her primary role is to provide support to Gillian and Wendy co-ordinating assignments and liaising with the team of photographers in scheduling assignments.
Much of this work requires coolness under pressure and military precision which Clare’s past experience working with a number of international airlines at check-in and flight dispatch at Heathrow no doubt helps with.
Clare lives in Surrey and has a daughter with aspirations to become an airline pilot.
Paul’s primary role is to fly the company aeroplane on aerial photographic missions. Route planning, aircraft maintenance and weather forecasting are all part of Paul’s remit.
In addition to flying Paul has many ‘strings to his bow’ including a passion for photography and is occasionally pressed into action as part of the photography team. His past careers in IT and aviation operations make him a very useful person to have around.
Paul resides in Kent and is a flying instructor in his spare time.
It is Lizzie’s task to curate and scan the aerial library in order to extricate the best shots for our clients’.
A keen photographer in her own right, Lizzie is an expert at shooting babies, horses and events (with a camera!).
Many searches are for densely populated areas which is akin to finding a needle in a haystack. However Lizzie’s ability to nail a Where’s Wally book has proved a valuable skill!
Lizzie lives in Chobham and wins the prize for shortest commute to the office.
Rachel has joined the aerial library team to assist with the ever growing demand from our customers for aerial library image searches.
In addition to finding those ‘needles in haystacks’, Rachel is also curating High Level’s Photodeck city spotlight images as well as Twittering and Facebooking on behalf of the company.
Rachel lives in Farnham and is a keen photographer in her own right.
Being married to the MD has meant Lorraine has been involved in the business from the word go. Chief bean counter is her current role.
Of late Lorraine has taken to pounding the streets to keep fit and has recently taken part in a number of running events for charity.
Don’t be fooled by Bella’s benign appearance – she is highly trained and vicious to anyone attempting to steal her bone!
In her spare time Bella enjoys sleeping, going for walks and more sleeping.
